"Expo Guide" exhibitor list not authorized by SURVEY!
Recently, we have received several inquiries by our exhibitors who asked us if an external service provider were offering updates for entries in the "Expo Guide" exhibitor list by our order. Today we would like to officially inform you that the SURVEY Marketing + Consulting GmbH & Co. KG, as organizer of FMB and EnrgieArena has no business relationship whatsoever with the above mentioned "Expo Guide" nor with any other external company offering services for the "Expo Guide".
SURVEY will always inform the exhibitors directly about entries in the official exhibitor list for their above mentioned trade fairs, as well as about any service provider entitled by SURVEY to compile and produce the official exhibitor list. In this context, we would like to refer to a recent publication by the AUMA (Ausstellungs- und Messe-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V.):
Expensive catalogue entries in "Expo-Guide"
AUMA advises exhibitors that a company from Mexico, Commercial Online Manuals S de RL de CV, is currently making a widescale effort to write to exhibitors at trade fairs, asking them to add their names to Expo-Guide, an exhibitor online directory compiled by that company. The small print on the form of tender includes a condition which stipulates that, upon signing, the exhibitor shall be bound to three years of annual payments of € 1,181 to that company.
As a rule, only the organisers of trade fairs guarantee inclusion in official publications (exhibitor directories, catalogue entries etc.). Organisers contact their exhibitors directly or via contracted companies.
